Just over a year and a half before this, Franz Vermeulen, Giuseppe Spinelli (Peppino, from Ce.M.O.N. Pharmacy, Italy), and I were at an international homoeopathy conference in Heidelberg (Germany) 2007. We stood outside smoking, which was just fine in those carefree days. I was about to embark on my voyage of treating AIDS in Africa and, synchronistically, over the last years, fungi had invaded my consciousness in every possible way. People talked about fungi. Fungi featured in books, movies, cancer cures and the occasional shamanic voyage. Having treated many cases of AIDS already, I realised that fungal infections were a strong feature of that disease. So, I asked the very knowledgeable Franz a straightforward question: “Which would be the most potent fungi for treating AIDS?” Without hesitation, he answered, “Cryptococcus.” Of course. This fungus is a diagnostic feature of AIDS, invading weak immune systems with a deadly cocktail of cryptococcal skin infections, pneumonia and meningitis. It was also feeding off a radioactive Chernobyl.
“Can you prepare that for me?” I asked Peppino. “Hmmm”, he said, puffing on his cigarette. “Not sure.” But two years later, just in time for the Dynamis proving, the remedy landed on my desk. Peppino can find anything!
This remedy turned out to be the most voluminous proving I have ever done, with many symptoms from all the provers, but in particular from Bob Blair, who had never done a proving before, and claimed he did not react to remedies. This remedy took over his life and provided a kaleidoscope of the weirdest symptoms ever. And it is due to Bob that this remedy is seeing the light of day. He has tirelessly and diligently collated, sorted and edited it, a task that took many years. Thank you, Bob!
Cryptococcus proved an excellent cure for severe cases of AIDS in Africa. It is one of the most representative remedies of the vast fungal kingdom, and its provings associates it with radiation, AIDS and cancer. This configuration helped me notice the significance of what I call the FARC miasm: Fungus, AIDS, Radiation, Cancer, and how they all link together in the evolving matrix of the 21st century.
So, dive through the mirror into the coded crypt of the weird, wonderful, vast mycelium of diverse symptoms that make up the one whole fantastic fungal picture.”
