Two weeks: Unique African experience!

An exclusive and unique learning experience!

An all-inclusive including clinics, a seminar, accommodation and a 2-day safari.

If you are a student or practitioner and would like to visit our project, sit in on the clinics, learn from our experience and see a variety of patients this is for you.

You will be sitting in with Jeremy and Camilla Sherr. You will get the opportunity to visit all the clinics including ‘outreach’ home visits.

This is an ideal opportunity to gain clinical hours and to see and learn pathology. Jeremy and Camilla will explain their methods of treating AIDS; be it from an individual aspect or from the epidemic point of view. You will be in the hub of the project, experiencing the real Africa and homoeopathy at grass root- level. You will be gaining information and insight from a culture that is very different to the western world.

You will visit a different clinic each day, some in the bush under a tree, some in remote Maasai villages and some in hospitals and more civilized settings. You will see mostly HIV/AIDS cases with a variety of regular pathology.

As well as prescribing we will be discussing AIDS, epidemics, homoeopathy, and life...

In addition to clinics you will have a one-day seminar with Jeremy.

There will be a one-day seminar with Jeremy, learning remedies for the AIDS-epidemic, going over the cases, explaining the background for our work, and helping with your questions and cases

You will receive a certificate for the clinical hours you have attended.

Volunteering homoeopath

This is for the truly committed. If you are an experienced homoeopath and you can come over for 3 months or longer this is for you.

A longer stay will be very rewarding as you will be able to assess your long term results and improve your prescribing. And it is of greatest help to the project since you can see a lot of patients!

You will receive an information pack with remedies to study in advance. Once you arrive in Tanzania you will have an induction and orientation day. The idea is that volunteers will overlap by one week, and new volunteers will be trained by old ones. It is highly recommend that you come with a friend so you can work together, as it can be quite challenging and lonely at times. Jeremy and Camilla will help as much as possible, but you need to be self sufficient as their hands are quite full!

VOLUNTEER: 3 months - and up

Price: First week $800 USD, following weeks 200$/week

A voluntary ongoing donation of 10$/month would be gratefully received as an aid to keep the program running!

Passing-by Visit

Perhaps your destination is elsewhere, but you are passing by Tanzania?

If this is the case you are very welcome to pop-in and visit the project. If you would like to sit in for a day or two,

this is a possibility. Just coordinate the dates with us. For this we would appreciate a small donation towards the project!

Accommodation

Accommodation is at our 'Hahnemann House'. It’s a basic, yet comfortable 4-bedroom house with a full kitchen, a large garden and views of the Kili. Some rooms are single, some twin or double so you may be sharing. We have a 24 hour guard and offer cleaning and laundry service.

Sightseeing

Safari

This is also a perfect opportunity to enjoy a safari or a Kili climb. Tanzania is one of Africa’s prime safari destinations with sightings of lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes and zebras in beautiful scenery.

Kilimanjaro

Climbing to the top of the highest mountain in Africa is an exciting challenge. It can also be a way to raise funds from friends and family. No need for ropes or acrobatics, but you need to have a fair degree of fitness.

Zanzibar

However if you like taking it easy on one of the best beaches in the world with great atmosphere, amazing snorkelling and fresh sea food, Zanzibar is the place for you!
